A Celebration of Rosa Parks - Transit Equity Day

On December 1, 1955, Rosa Parks was asked to give up her seat to a white person, to which she said “No”. Her defiance led to her arrest and that moment sparked the famous, 381 day Montgomery Bus Boycott. Despite the success of the boycott, sixty-eight years later, transportation is still a civil rights issue.
