Lashawndra Robinson - co-chair

Lashawndra Robinson is a visionary leader in sustainable agriculture, community development, and environmental stewardship. As Executive Director of Black Farm Street Inc., she empowers communities through sustainable farming education, economic growth, and environmental conservation. A military veteran with expertise in supply logistics, an executive chef, and a certified Master Gardener, Lashawndra blends practical skills with a passion for food justice and urban farming. She has established training programs for edible gardens, built partnerships with churches and institutions, and advocates for fresh food access. Originally from Florida, she relocated to Georgia with a purpose-driven mission. She believes farming is more than growing crops—it cultivates character, resilience, and community. Inspired by Masanobu Fukuoka, she is dedicated to planting seeds of change that nourish both people and the land.

Agribusiness Committee - Greater Augusta Black Chamber Of Commerce

The Agribusiness Committee of the Greater Augusta Black Chamber is dedicated to advancing Black-owned agricultural enterprises, bridging the gap between urban and rural growers, and expanding opportunities in agribusiness. We work to strengthen the local food system by supporting farmers, food producers, and agripreneurs through strategic partnerships, advocacy, and education. Our initiatives focus on increasing market access, promoting sustainable practices, and engaging the next generation in agriculture. By fostering collaboration between farmers, policymakers, and community stakeholders, we aim to create a resilient and equitable agricultural economy in the Augusta region.
